I strive to lead Cronulla  Preschool with a strong sense of community , connections and a high quality play based education focus. I am passionate about advocating for early childhood as an important foundation for children’s educational journey. I am proud of our team for always going above and beyond to provide meaningful, authentic, and child focused learning environments and interactions. I also teach at UWS  in the Early Childhood Degree.

I have extensive experience in book keeping and accounts and enjoy using my skills and knowledge to ensure Cronulla Preschool is a successful not-for-profit community organisation. As part of my roll I actively ensure I am up to date with all financial legislation and funding requirements, whilst supporting Janene and the team with the day to day operation of the preschool.

I am an enthusiastic teacher who came into teaching because of my own wonderful experiences as a child at preschool. I am a passionate advocate for young children and quality early years education and I love to follow and extend the lead of children, responding to the exciting questions and ideas that they have. I believe that adults can learn just as much from children as they can learn from us and value my relationships with children and families. I am passionate about exploring diversity and inclusivity with children, families and our wider community. 

I am passionate about the Circle of Security approach and establishing genuine and nurturing relationships with the children and their families. I love animals and the outdoors, which I enjoy incorporating into our preschool program. I like discovering new things with the children and helping them learn to develop care and respect for our natural world and each other.

I am passionate about creating learning environments which promote children’s sense of awe and wonder and in which each child’s unique skills, interests and ways of being and learning are nurtured. I embed respect through trusting relationships with children and families and empowering children in feeling seen and heard as highly capable and valued citizens of our community. I am currently studying my Masters Degree in Special and Inclusive Education, and look forward to bringing this new knowledge to my teaching practice.

I am passionate, authentic and enthusiastic, and want to share my love of learning with young children! I pride myself on my ability to nurture and care for children while building trusting and open relationships with them and their families. I believe that children have a right to play, explore, experiment and ask questions, ensuring their voices are heard and they are made to feel empowered about their learning. I love being outdoors and sharing my love of nature and physical activity with the children.

I am a motivated and energetic educator who enjoys supporting children throughout their learning and development in early childhood. I love creating fun, exciting learning environments that allow children to discover the world and thrive as individuals. I recognise the importance of open and honest communication and strive to work collaboratively with team members, families and children.

I am a proud Aboriginal Woman from the La Perouse community. I am currently working towards my diploma in early childhood and have great ambitions to further extend my studies in early childhood.I am a thoughtful and nurturing educator who loves to use open ended resources to help extend ideas and interests through play based learning experiences. I love to investigate and explore the diverse cultures and identities within our community through story telling, projects and investigations and through the creative arts.

I enjoy helping children to achieve their full potential through learning in pat, arts, community and exploring the natural world. I believe we can learn from children by being in worder of the world and sharing their excitement. I strive to help children achieve a strong sense of identity in the community and within themselves which will help them to continue to grow within the world.

I am a creative , fun and reliable new trainee looking to start my career in Early Childhood. I have a strong interest in working with children and developing connections to provide genuine support and care. I have a passion for creativity which I show, and am looking forward to sharing, through my love of photography and videography.

I started at Cronulla Preschool as a trainee in 2021, after successfully completing my Certificate 3 and traineeship I enrolled in my Bachelor of Education Early Childhood at Uni. Now that I am more than half way through my degree I’m currently working full time as a Diploma whilst I continue my teacher qualification online.
